The Grandview Education Foundation which raises funds to support the students and staff of the Grandview C-4 School District raised over $18,000 at its annual Trivia Night fundraiser November 7 at St. Thomas More Parish attended by 26 competing teams.
The City of Grandview’s team won first place in the trivia competition. The event also featured live & silent auctions and raffles.
Donations at the event included $8,000 specifically earmarked for the Foundation’s Cover to Cover reading program which gives up to 10 free books to every pre-kindergarten through 5th grade student in the District to help prevent summer reading loss.
Students get to select their own books to take home and keep. In 2025 the Foundation distributed more than 14,000 books to over 1,700 students.
