Victim of road rage was a resident of Grandview

An adult male subject of interest remained on scene and was taken into custody by responding officers.

Police have  positively identified the victim of last night’s road rage that ended at QuikTrip at 102nd and Wornall as 39-year-old Kyle R. Hudson, W/M, 08/03/1987. He was a resident of  Grandview.

On Saturday night at 10:45PM, officers were dispatched to the 10200 block of Wornall Rd. on a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located Hudson in the gas station parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot trauma. Officers immediately began rendering medical aid until EMS arrived and transported Hudsonto an area hospital where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Preliminary information indicates this incident may have been a result of road rage. An adult male subject of interest remained on scene and was taken into custody by responding officers. Detectives are not currently seeking any additional persons of interest.
