Keystone United Methodist Church in Waldo is launching a food pantry service on the 3rd Thursday of each month. From 3:30 to 6:30 pm, church volunteers will distribute non-perishable food items to those in need.
The food pantry is titled “Key Ingredients,” and its first distribution date is Thursday, October 16.
The church is located at 406 W. 74th St. Enter through the office on the south side of the church or access a handicap ramp on the west side.
To support Key Ingredients, the church will accept donations of nonperishable, meal-building pantry staples, such as pasta, sauce, rice, beans, canned vegetables, canned protein, instant potatoes, soup and broth. Monetary donations and volunteer service is also gratefully accepted.
