This morning just before 7:30am, officers were called to the 7100 block of E 112th St in regard to sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival to the area, officers were flagged down by a citizen in the 7000 block of E 113th St where they located the victim, an adult male, who was suffering from apparent trauma. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel have responded to the scene. They will be processing the scene for evidence and canvassing for any potential witnesses.
