Fire crews responded to a reported apartment fire at 10853 Stateline Rd just before 3:00 pm. On arrival, crews reported smoke in the first-floor hallway of a three-story apartment building and located a fire in a first-floor apartment. Interior operations were initiated using multiple handlines. Evacuations were in progress on arrival. Crews conducted searches of the structure and completed the evacuations. No injuries were reported at this incident. City Planning has been requested to the scene. Companies are finishing up salvage and overhaul operations currently. The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD.
