South KC Crime Town Hall Meeting

While Kansas City has had a record escalation in murders in the last year, there is concern about the great spike in South Kansas City. Residents can get an update on the violent crime statistics on Saturday, October 24th at 10:30am at a virtual Crime Town Hall featuring experts including KCMO Police Chief Rick Smith and Mayor Quinton Lucas. Topics will include programs and steps being taken by the police, city and community organizations and opportunities to volunteer via mentoring programs.
