The 10th annual Martin City Whiskey Run 5K, hosted by the Martin City Business Community Association, will be held Sunday, April 3 at KC Running Co., 200 E. 135th Street. Sponsored by Lucas Wine and Spirits, the event will start with a 5K at 8:30 am followed by a Kids Fun Run at 9:30 am. 
Whiskey samples will be available pre- and post-race, made possible by Lucas’ distributors including Jim Beam, Union Horse, J. Rieger & Co., Tom’s Town, Restless Spirits, and more.
Races and spectators alike will enjoy live music throughout the event from Heartland country-rocker Drew Six. Six earned international industry attention for his early demo, Boyfriend, hitting #1 on the NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) Top 40 Chart.
You may have also heard Six on Q104 or on streaming and social platforms, as well as opening for numerous notable acts including Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, and Maroon 5.
Participants of the Whiskey Run 5K will receive a custom race T-shirt, finishers medal and post-race breakfast. Participating restaurants include Coast to Coast Pub, Martin City Coffee, Martin City Brewing Co., and RC’s. For more information or to sign up for the race, visit whiskeyrun5k.com.
