St. Peter & All Saints Has All You Can Eat Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday
Traditionally, St. Peter & All Saints, 100 E. Red Bridge Rd, hosts a Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.
This year that Tuesday falls on February 28, also known as Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday. In keeping with the name, the supper includes all you can eat pancakes with all the toppings, sausage and drinks. The public is invited. It runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Cost is $6 for adults; $3 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. All proceeds from the supper benefit St. Peter & all Saints’ outreach ministries and local Boy Scout Troop 1046.
Ash Wednesday services will follow the next day at 7 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m. at the church. For more information, call 816-942-1066.
