Lutheran High School opens thrift shop
By Sue Loudon
If you volunteer at Lutheran High School’s new thrift store in Grandview you may be able to buy the best bargains!
Lost and Found is opening at 12104 Blue Ridge Blvd. starting October 4. The store needs donations, volunteers and shoppers. Proceeds benefit the Lutheran High School at 12411 Wornall Rd. Lost and Found is in a free standing building across from Hardee’s.

“We are fully stocked with donated, gently used merchandise,” said Gina Townley, manager of Lost and Found. She is the only paid employee. The rest of the staff are volunteers.
”Students and parents at the Lutheran High School get credit on their tuition for working here,” said Townley. Students from other high schools who need volunteer service hours are also welcome to help.
Towley says the store currently has books, games, furniture, clothing, seasonal items and household items. “You can find great Christmas decorations here at big discounts,” she says.
Lost and Found is the perfect place to shop for a new apartment when a budget is important. For more information call 816-673-1099.
