Hiring Firefighters
The KCMO Fire Department is accepting applications to become a firefighter through 5 p.m. Friday, March 8.
To be considered, applicants must be KCMO residents who are at least 18 but no older than 29 on March 8. They must have a valid driver’s license and be a high school graduate or possess a state-issued GED, although applications from persons on track to graduate high school in May or June will be conditionally accepted.
Interested persons may go to KCMO.gov/Fire for more information and may submit their applications online at www.KCMO.gov/Careers.
