Midwest Shredding is sponsoring a paper shredding event for the south KC community free of charge from 9 to 11 am on Friday, April 22, at the St. Joseph Medical Center campus, I-435 and State Line Rd.
MRC will also be collecting electronics for recycling, such as old phones, toasters, appliances, drills, anything that runs on batteries or plugs in with the exception of TVs and CRT computer monitors.
The free event is open to everyone.
