The second annual Earth Day Shred/Recycle event sponsored by Lillibridge Healthcare Services, will be at the St Joseph Medical Center Campus, I-435 and State Line Road, on Friday, April 21st from 9-11 am. The event will be at the parking lot south of Building A.
“We were pleasantly overwhelmed last year,” says organizer Mike Bondon, “But have made some changes to streamline the process this year.”
This year two shred trucks and more staff will be onsite as well as a PCs for People truck with staff to help with electronics disposal and more containers for normal household items. Bondon and other staff from Lillibridge, which is located on campus, will be available.
The event is free and open to anyone in the community. There is no limit of
items for shredding and recycling.
Last year, the overwhelming response turned into an hour wait for many who got word of the first time event.
