Melanie Morrisey is an event planner. But as much as she likes to plan events, she likes helping women with their home businesses more.
“It is so rewarding helping small businesses reach their goal,” she says. “That is what I am doing this for, for people just like me.”
Morrisey plans events that feature home business products on a monthly basis. This month, December 8 from 6-9 pm, she will be hosting a shopping extravaganza for women called One for the Ladies. Already 40 vendors have signed up to showcase their products, some home crafted, some franchised. The event will include spa treatments, wine and of course shopping.
One for the Ladies will be held at the new event space in Grandview, called 8th & Main. The event is free.
Morrisey owns her own event planning business KZ’z and an event space in Raytown. For more information, contact Morrisey at kzzraytown@gmail.com or call 816-328-6399.
