Wonderscope Grand Opening
The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City will open for admission Friday, October 23, following an 8:30 AM ribbon cutting, but advance reservations are required for both members and the general public. The newly constructed facility at 423 E. Red Bridge Shopping Center features numerous interactive exhibits designed to help children learn while playing and having fun. On opening day, there will be a morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and an afternoon session from 1:30 to 4:30. Each session will be limited to a maximum of 250 visitors to allow social distancing.
Beginning Saturday, October 24, the museum will be open Tuesday through Sunday for a 9 AM to noon session and a 1 to 4 session with the same limits on the number of visitors. Admission is free for children under two. $12 for children 2-15 and $9 for persons over 16, and discounts are available. Family memberships start as low as $80. Members of the public may purchase tickets and members may make reservations online at www.wonderscope.org. No onsite ticket sales are available for now.
