Center School Board Candidate Forum
The League of Women Voters of Kansas City and Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties and the South Kansas City Alliance are co-sponsoring a forum for the candidates running for the Center School District Board of Education at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in the Center High School cafeteria, 8715 Holmes Rd.
There are seven candidates who filed for three 3-year terms on the Board. They are incumbents Marcie Calvin and Danielle Quinn and Amy Carr, Sam Cook, Johnathan Decker, Margo Simms-Hurst and Bryce Thomas Shields. The winners will be selected in the April 7 election.
