County Waiving Fees
Jackson County is waiving its normal $2 convenience fee and $1.25 electronic check fee through December 31 for paying county property taxes online. There is still a 2.75% fee for online credit card payments.
To pay online, persons should go to www.payments.jacksongov.org; create an account or continue as a guest; link account and search by name, address or property account number; pay the bill; and print or digitally store the receipt.
Taxpayers also may mail their payments to the address on their bills, but payments must be postmarked by December 31 to avoid a penalty.
